The purpose of the San Diego Black Arts and Culture Advisory Committee (Advisory Committee) is to engage the community and make recommendations to the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art (SDAAMFA) regarding the arts, cultural, business, and related economic development activities planned or currently underway within the nine blocks located on Imperial Avenue between 61 st and 69 th Street. The Advisory Committee will develop criteria, to be used in making recommendations related to cultural programing, public art, call for artists, marketing of the district and host various workshops as needed.
